It was certainly clear to everyone who drove past it during the construction phase that the new campus of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management would be impressive and, above all, attractive. However, we kept the fact that we were allowed to be part of this project a secret until the end. Because our task was a centerpiece of the foyer hall: an XXL tile directly in the entrance area. The non-slip floor tile with embossed logo should be 1.5 × 1.5 m in size. No problem up to this point - however, due to the existing floor structure, the thickness was allowed to be a maximum of 1.6 cm. It was immediately clear to us: Challenge accepted.
