Concrete counter Café talbub

A concrete counter as a highlight in the café and an eye-catcher from the street. The logo engraving as a personalized detail attracts everyone's attention. The concrete counter became the main component of the café concept and was intended to completely cover the old existing counter. The outer side panels were therefore attached to the substructure with cast threads. The two panels fit together end to end and leave out the existing oak shelf.

The concrete counter became the main component of the café concept and was intended to completely cover the old existing counter. The outer side panels were therefore attached to the substructure with cast threads. The two panels fit together end to end and leave out the existing oak shelf.

The talbub logo should be embossed on the front of the counter and easy to read from the outside. The embossing was implemented with a depth of 1 cm and a width of 75 cm. The corner detail shows how the side panels and concrete worktops meet with millimeter precision. The joints were closed with silicone in a matching color. Furthermore, the appropriate undermount basin should be perfectly integrated and a hole for the tap should be provided. The entire bar has been refinished, sealed and polished. This means that stains have no chance and the surface is appropriately protected, smoothed and cared for.

Additional recesses were taken into account and cast during mold construction for the existing oak shelf, cable guides and an embedded LED strip in the sideboard to illuminate the brick wall.
